A man apparently killed a woman and then murdered their two children before taking his own life on Dec. 30, 2013 in Fontana, Calif., according to ABC News.
ABC reports that Fontana Police spokesperson Martha Guzman-Hurtado said, “Everything that has been confirmed so far indicates it could be a murder-suicide, but that has not been confirmed… They are questioning other people making that conclusion.”
Police received a call Monday night from a teenage boy fearful his family members were injured or dead.
When authorities arrived at the home, they found a woman, a 10 year old boy, and a 12 year old girl shot several times each, along with a man who had a single gunshot wound to the head, Guzman-Hurtado noted.
According to ABC, Jonathan Garcia, a neighbor who lives across the street, heard yelling at around 8:30 p.m. coming from the home.
He said he saw police in SWAT gear rushing the house and a teenage boy screaming “That’s my mom! That’s my mom!”
Garcia stated a woman was outside the house crying and saying in Spanish, “They’re all dead, they’re all dead. He killed them all!”
According to the report, the family lived in the normally quiet neighborhood for the past three years.
