"The Big Heat" is about a police detective who's wife gets killed by a gangster, so he gets his own revenge with help by the gangster's moll. Fritz Lang directed this great film noir and Glenn Ford, Lee Marvin, and Gloria Grahame starred in it. This one is a kick in a teeth kind of crime film.

He also wants to "save" Susan (Jean Wallace) from Brown and learn more about what happened to Brown's wife. This low-budget noir is a classic and is quite intense.
"My Gun Is Quick," is one of the best Mike Hammer films and sometimes a little underrated. In the movie Hammer must find out who murdered a young streetwalker and what's up with stolen jewelry. Robert Bray is Hammer in the movie.
"G Men," has James Cagney on the right side of the law. In this movie it shows the early days of the FBI and Cagney plays a character who joins them and tries to stop Leggett and his gang after his friend is gunned down.
