Polk County Sheriff's deputies along with Rockmart police arrest four subjects on methamphetamine and marijuana charges at 481 Clearwater Street in Rockmart, Georgia.
On Wednesday, April 13. 2011, Polk County Sheriff's deputies requested assistance from Rockmart police to serve a warrant for probation violation at 481 Clearwater Street. Polk County deputies had information that the subject they were looking for, Thomas James Hilburn was at the residence. Hilburn, along with three other subjects were at the residence when officers arrived on the scene.
Upon arrival, Rockmart Police Officer Montgomery recognized one of the subjects as Dustyn Lee Pence. Officer Montgomery was aware that Pence had outstanding warrants issued by the Polk County Narcotics Enforcement Team (NET) for possession of methamphetamine. Polk County deputies confirmed the warrant was valid and Pence was taken into custody.
According to Police Chief Keith Sorrells, there had been several complaints of drug activity at the residence during the past few weeks. Robert Glenn Oliver gave officers permission to search the premises. Sgt. John Zuker of the Cedartown Police Department, along with his canine partner, Kia arrived on the scene to assist with the search. One meth pipe with residue, digital scales with meth residue and less than one ounce of marijuana was found in a common area of the house. One meth pipe with residue was also found in a locked closet belonging to Oliver. The four occupants of the house were taken into custody and charged accordingly..
Thomas James Hilburn, age 29, of White, Ga. was arrested by Polk County deputies on an outstanding warrant for probation violation. Hilburn was also charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana (less than one ounce), felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of tools used for the commission of a crime. A $2600.00 property bond has been set for Hilburn, however there is a probation hold that must be waived before bond can be signed.
Hilburn was also arrested on March 26, 2010 for possession of methamphetamine.

Dustyn Lee Pence, age 42, of Rockmart, was arrested by Polk County deputies on an outstanding warrant for felony possession of methamphetamine. Pence was also charged with new charges of felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of marijuana (less than one ounce) and possession of tools used for the commission of a crime. Pence remains in custody at the time of this publication. A property bond has been set in the amount of $3700.00
Robert Glenn Oliver, age 48, of Rockmart was arrested by Rockmart police and charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of marijuana (less than one ounce) and possession of tools used for the commission of a crime. Oliver was released on April 14th on a $2600.00 property bond
Michelle Leigh Murrieta, age 23, of Aragon was arrested by Rockmart police and charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of marijuana (less than one ounce) and possession of tools used for the commission of a crime. Murrieta remains in custody at the time of this publication. A property bond for Murrieta has been set in the amount of $2600.00
