What: You’re invited to experience a Kwanzaa celebrate at the Reginald F. Lewis Museum of African American History & Culture with the Founder of Kwanzaa, look forward to an afternoon of crafts, educational programs, live performances and storytelling.
Partake in “Drum Talk” with Sankofa Dance Theater drummers and beat box artist Shodekeh and appreciate a workshop on Kwanzaa principles with Culture Kingdom Kids.
The holiday festival also includes an African Marketplace displaying vendor’s goods and much more.
And last but, not least Dr. Maulana Karenga, founder of Kwanzaa will be in attendance to make this year’s festivity extra special!
Who: Open to general public for the cost of $5 whereas, all ages are welcome.
