Foster, Vick and Moss are winners of Examiner.com fantasy football awards

Houston running back Arian Foster was selected by a national panel of eight Examiner.com experts as the 2010 Fantasy Football Most Valuable Player (MVP).

Quarterback Michael Vick was selected as the "Biggest Surprise" and wide receiver Randy Moss was selected as the "Biggest Disappointment" for 2010.

Foster follows in the footsteps of last year's winner, Tennessee running back Chris Johnson, in leading the league in rushing.   The second-year Texan running back had 16 rushing touchdowns and ran for 1,616 yards. Foster carried the ball 327 times and averaged 4.9 yards per carry.  He also caught 2 touchdown passes to finish with 18 TD's for the year and had 2,220 all-purpose yards.

Michael Vick started the season as Philadelphia's reserve quarterback, but ended up being 2010's "Biggest Surprise". When starter Kevin Kolb got hurt, it didn't take long for Vick to establish himself as the new starter for the Eagles.  He played in 12 games, threw 21 touchdown passes and also scored 9 TD's.  His quarterback rating was 100.2. Vick completed 62.6% of his passes, threw for 3,018 yards and had 6 passes intercepted during the regular season.

Detroit LIons Examiner Chris Morgan called Randy Moss the "vagabond wide receiver" and a deserving winner of the "Biggest Disappointment" award.  He was listed as the 11th best player on the Examiner's "Top 200" list going into the fantasy football draft, but played for three different teams - New England, Minnesota and Tennessee - in 2010. He finished the year with 28 passes catches for 393 yards and 5 touchdowns.

None of the winners were unanimous picks.  Philadelphia QB Michael Vick, Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings and Kansas City running back Jamal Charles each received one vote in the MVP balloting.  Denver wide receiver Brandon Lloyd received two votes for "Biggest Surprise", while Browns running back Peyton Hillis and Houston's Foster each received a single vote in this category.  Other nominees for "Biggest Disappoinment" included Minnesota QB Brett Favre, Dolphins wide receiver Brandon Marshall, San Diego running back Ryan Mathews and San Francisco's defense and speical teams.
