In keeping with their pledge to help cats who are in the most need and from high-kill shelters, Foster Paws will be at Petco on Woodruff Road on Saturday, September 21 from noon until 5pm.
On Sunday, cats will be up for adoption at the Petsmart on Wade Hampton Boulevard in Taylors from 1pm-6pm. The Sunday event coincides with Petsmarts National Adoption Weekend.
Foster Paws posted on their Facebook page that any foster kitty parents are welcome to bring their foster cats and kittens to the two events in hopes a few will find forever homes.
Volunteers are also needed to interview prospective adopters. If you can help with this, please contact Diana at (323)630-1437.
Extra crates are also needed, so if you have any to spare, don't forget to bring them.
If you're thinking of adopting a cat into your family, consider Foster Paws. Fosters Paws volunteers are familiar with the type of environment would best suit each of their cats, and can help you choose the perfect cat to take home.
Right now the rescue is in need of home fosters. With all fosters and rescues overwhelmed at the number of cats needing help, cats are urgently in need of forever or temporary homes or will be euthanized at the Greenville shelter. The community can help by adopting these cats, which enables Foster Paws to save more off of the euthanasia list.
Thanks go out to Sue, Andrea,Shelly, Susan and everyone at GCACS for going above and beyond to get these cats to these events. Thank you to Diana, Crystal, Ash, and everyone with Foster Paws for their big hearts and commitment to adopting out these kitties.
While the adoption fee has been waived, donations are always appreciated.
