This Saturday, March 29, 2014, Robert Platshorn of The Silver Tour is organizing an all-day event geared to those with a desire to get into the upcoming Florida marijuana business. Platshorn is pulling out all the stops by bringing in a Who's Who of marijuana legalization activists and those on the business-side of the industry in other parts of the country.

Marijuana is nearly guaranteed to be legal in Florida in some form by the close of the year and Platshorn would like Floridians to be ready - especially those who are looking to enter the business as entrepreneurs. Current legislation being considered in Tallahassee runs the gamut from total legalization to highly restrictive medical use.

There is also a referendum which will be on the ballot for Florida voters to decide whether to legalize marijuana for medical purposes this November. Curiously Florida's Attorney General Pam Bondi attempted to keep the referendum off the ballot, however she was unsuccessful and now her Libertarian opponent, Bill Wohlsifer is one of the scheduled speakers at Saturday's forum. Wohlsifer has also authored legislation currently being debated in Tallahassee for passage titled the “Cathy Jordan Medical Cannabis Act”.

Saturday's event will run from 9 a.m. through 8 p.m. at the Hawthorn Suites Ballroom in West Palm Beach, Florida and below is the proposed schedule. Tickets can be purchased at this link and includes all meals and work books.
