‘FortressCraft: Evolved’ now available on Steam

“FortressCraft: Evolved” is now available on Steam for $5.99, game publisher Digital Tribe Games announced today via a press release obtained by Examiner.

With a series of gameplay improvements including TwitchTV integration and Build2Me, an interesting building feature that allows you to guide your cursor to and from a specific point you’d like to build, “FortressCraft: Evolved” appears to be a vast improvement over its 2011 indie hit predecessor.

According to Adam Sawkins, founder of ProjectorGames and the mind behind the series, this sequel is full of surprises and sheer depth.

“The most radical of which has got to be our world size. Minecraft's world is about as big as Neptune, and 256 meters deep,” Sawkins told Examiner yesterday in an exclusive interview. By comparison, FortressCraft's world is half the size of the Milky Way, and 1,000 light years deep. My favorite way of putting it; if you took every single ‘Minecraft’ map, created since the beginning of Minecraft's inception, it would fit into one tiny corner of a single ‘FortressCraft’ map.”
