The Ink Life Tour & Music Festival is happening right now in downtown Fort Myers. Last night, this well anticipated event kick started with great attendance regardless of coinciding with the usually crowded Fort Myers Art Walk.
The promoters had told us of some surprises to come and so far, they have delivered.
Steve Tefft, Sarah Miller, Clint Cummings, James Vaughn, Lea Vendetta and T.J. Hall from the hit T.V. show Ink Masters are in the house, literally. Fans can get tattooed by these monsters of the ink right at the Fort Myer’s Harborside Events Center.
Earlier this morning, the Ink Masters cast members visited HOWL Gallery & Tattoo in downtown Fort Myers for a special broadcast by FOX 4 Rising morning show. There were live art fusion and tattooing to promote the event.
Other special guests tattooing the hell out of Fort Myers are Amy Nicoletto and George Galindo, also royalty from the Ink Masters episodes. These two titans also hung out at HOWL Gallery before getting ready to show off their skills at the Harborside.
Andy Howl, owner and tattoo artist at HOWL Gallery & Tattoo is manning their booth at the Harborside during the weekend, but his team is holding the fort back at the shop at 1514 Broadway Street in downtown Fort Myers. One of their most beloved tattooists, Steve ‘Bananas’ is back to assist during the weekend, but will not be for long (sad face). If you wish to get tattooed by Steve or any of HOWL’s awesome tattoo masters, call 239-332-0161 today.
The Ink Life Tour & Music Festival is hosted by the world famous House of Pain Tattoo Studios from El Paso, Texas and MC’d by Dr. Blasphemy. Our city is incredibly grateful to be included in their national schedule. For more information on the event, visit www.inklifetour.com or join their Facebook page.
