On Jan. 3, 2014, the Fort Myers Art Walk announced that their event will be its first for the new year. It will offer up (see highlights below) what guests can expect, in art of all kinds, when they visit the River District in downtown Fort Myers, Fla.
A new year's celebration of sorts will be had by all, and what better way to begin the new year than by enjoying what this Southwest Florida event has to offer.
"Tonight from 6 to 10 p.m. there will be new art shows, live artist demonstrations and a great atmosphere for shopping and dining in the River District." - Fort Myers Art Walk
Art buyers and art enthusiasts will be able to meet local artists during the exhibit openings at most of the downtown galleries and art spaces.
"The Downtown River District is home to six art galleries and at least seven more retail shops that sell local artwork. Live art demonstrations are planned throughout the downtown area."
'Art Walk' offers even more later in the month.
"Also this month, the seasonal Saturday Art Fair returns to the sidewalks, also on First Street. Local artists will showcase and sell their original art from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 18." - Art Fair
