A tiny tiger-striped kitten survived a six-mile car trip while trapped somewhere in the engine section of Dania Beach resident Veronica Members' car late last week reported the Sun Sentinel.
Members had been returning from her security job in Fort Lauderdale when she thought she heard cat meows.
Twice she stopped and even called for the assistance of firefighters along her way home off of Federal Highway, but the pint sized stowaway remained elusive- that is until Members returned home and heard the tiny cries again.
The Broward Sheriff Fire-Rescue were finally able to find the two-month old little bundle of absolute cuteness, but Veronica is scared of cats, so the kitten was transferred to the Broward County Humane Society on Griffin Road where she will be made available for adoption as soon as she is checked out to be healthy.
