Reportedly, the shooter died of a self-inflicted wound.

Two people have been taken to a hospital, yet there have been no reports on the extent of their injuries. In fact, very little information has been reported on following the latest shooting event at Fort Hood. The only information coming out is that there was indeed a shooting and that emergency crews are presently on the scene.

According to a worker at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center at Fort Hood, there are two patients being treated and more patients are expected – but there is no indication as to how many more wounded persons are expected to be serviced at the medical facility.

The Texas Department of Public Safety has dispatched deputies and troopers to the scene.

Everyone at Fort Hood has been instructed to stay under cover.

Four-and-a-half years ago, there was a shooting in which 13 persons were killed at the Army base in Kileen, Texas.
