Fort Collins - Perfect location for natural living

Those of us privileged to live in northern Colorado have resources at our fingertips when it comes to natural living. Here in northern Colorado we have access to any kind of organic food, be it vegetable or animal.

For example, Grant Farms just north of Fort Collins is a great starting point for those who are interested in CSA, or community supported agriculture. But if you want to shop around try this link: http://coloradocsas.info/csas/pickupCity/Fort%20Collins

Many of the CSA's also offer cage free eggs, and other products that you may not readily find in the grocery store. Now is a great time to sign up and become a member.

For those interested in purchasing grass fed beef, buffalo, elk, pork, or chicken, there is Rocky Plains Quality Meats. There you can also sign up to purchase raw milk. But of course you have to be a shareholder of the herd to get around the legality of buying raw milk. The milk comes from R Patch O' Heaven and is delicious!

Many of the CSA's also deliver, so if you are a city dweller don't be quick to dismiss the idea of having access to wonderful food. Ask around, check out the websites and see if you can avail yourself and your family to the best food available, you won't regret it.
