Fort Collins Passport fun for fans of exploring new bars

Diddy, shown here with the Fort Collins Passport, is excited for the great deals it brings.

Fort Collins knows how to have fun.

And in an effort to consistently keep things fresh, a group has developed the "Fort Collins Passport".

What is this passport, you ask?

It's a booklet full of two-for-one coupons for drinks at 28 Fort Collins bars.

As their website explains, the reason for the passport is, "To get you out and exploring Fort Collins! Try new places. And treat a friend to a drink (there's a reason why it's two-for-one...)"

That's precisely why Diddy, a Colorado native and longtime resident of "Fort Fun" bought his.

"It's going to give me the reason to go to all these bars I've never been to," Diddy said. "That's exactly the point."

"The best example is Elliot's is on there. Elliot's has drinks that are $8, $9, $10 a piece. So if I buy a $10 drink, got buy one get one free, so I get it (the Passport) paid off in one use. This thing could be more valuable than anything I've ever bought," he continued.

High praise for the cool new Fort Collins Passport.

And, since it's a relatively new concept, friends were excited to hear about this awesome deal.

"I showed it to 10 people today and everybody was super grateful I showed it to them," Diddy finished.

The Passport is a summer-long deal with 28 participating Fort Collins bars, which goes from this weekend (May 23) through Labor Day (September 2) and they can be purchased for $10 through

Happy drinking and keep it classy, Fort Collins.
