Fort Carson Soldier Spc. Adrian M. Perkins dies in Jordan

Earlier today, the Department of Defense announced the death of Spc. Adrian M. Perkins, 19, who died of non-combat related injuries in Amman, Jordan.

Spc. Perkins, 19, of Pine Valley, Calif., died May 17, 2014, while supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.

There was no indication from the Department of Defense that Spc. Perkin’s death is under investigation.

He was assigned to 1st Battalion, 67th Armor Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Carson, Colorado.

There has been no information from this Soldier’s family regarding funeral services.
