Fort Bend Brewing: It's time for a tour (Photos)

Fort Bend Brewing, the recent startup brewery located in Missouri City, is about to host its first ever public tour on Saturday, February 9, 2013. The craft beer community has been waiting for the moment when Fort Bend scheduled its first open house tour and the time has finally arrived. Here is some background information on Fort Bend Brewing tours:

Company: Fort Bend Brewing

Tour Time: 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. (for all tours- not just the debut). Tours are held on the second and fourth Saturday of each month.

Tour Includes: Souvenir glass and drink tickets

Children can also attend the tours, but must be accompanied by an adult at all times. All guests must be 21 years of age or older and a valid ID is required for admission. Guests can bring their own food and chairs. However, absolutely NO outside alcoholic beverages are permitted. These rules are standard for all brewery tours in the state of Texas, so seasoned brewery groupies shouldn’t find anything too surprising.

Tour space is limited to 110 guests. Fort Bend Brewing will post a note to its Facebook page if a tour is sold out, so it would be a great idea to add Fort Bend Brewing to your Facebook “like” list, both to keep up with current happenings at the brewery and to check availability before driving to Missouri City. Advance tickets are available through Eventbrite and can be purchased several months in advance.

Fort Bend Brewing has been selling its beer to local taverns and restaurants for a few months, but this will be the first time the brewery has been open for public visitation. Mark your calendars, purchase your tickets, and get ready for this, the first public tour at one of Houston’s newest brewing operations.
