Formula One winter testing took place in Barcelona this week, and photographers were on hand to capture the action. Winter testing took place at Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona, Spain. Among the racers and cars testing out on the circuit this week were Mark Webber of Australia and Red Bull; Paul di Resta of Great Britain and Sahara Force India; Jenson Button of Great Britain and McLaren; and Jean-Eric Vergne of France and Scuderia Toro Rosso.
Season 2012 will begin in Australia with the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne, March 15-18.
Check out Formula One's famed history in the Rochester area by visiting the International Motor Racing Center in Watkins Glen, 80 miles south of the city. The center is open Monday through Saturday and has resources available on all sorts of motoracing topics.
