On Friday, January 10, the Federation Internationale de l'Automobile, the FIA, released the 2014 Formula 1 World Championship entry list via its website. The listing includes not only the full roster of racers competing in the 2014 season announced to date, but it also contains the full list of numbers racers have chosen for themselves according to the new rules established by the FIA beginning with the 2014 season.

Of course, driving number 1 as the reigning Formula 1 World Champion, Sebastian Vettel will race again for Red Bull. The FIA listing, however, shows that he has chosen #5 as his career number. The remaining roster with the drivers' chosen numbers follows below, according to the FIA:

#3: Daniel Ricciardo -- Red Bull

#44: Lewis Hamilton -- Mercedes

#6: Nico Rosberg -- Mercedes

#14: Fernando Alonso -- Ferrari

#7: Kimi Raikkonen -- Ferrari

#8: Romain Grosjean -- Lotus

#13: Pastor Maldonado -- Lotus

#22: Jenson Button -- McLaren

#20: Kevin Magnussen -- McLaren

#27: Niko Hulkenberg -- Force India

#11: Sergio Perez -- Force India

#99: Adrian Sutil -- Sauber

#21: Esteban Gutierrez -- Sauber

The 2014 FIA Formula 1 World Championship will begin with the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne, March 14-16.

Prior to the first race, pre-season testing will take place in late January and in February in Jerez, Spain and in Bahrain.

Teams have different plans for unveiling their new race cars for 2014 which will feature the main change, a move to a turbo V6 from the V8 engines that powered the cars before.
