September 5th marks the first annual Jam4Vets, a South Bay rock event all for the benefit of disabled American veterans.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Quarter Note in Sunnyvale (1214 Apollo Way, Sunnyvale, CA 94086) will host the multi-band/silent auction consisting of 4 heavy-hitters, in one brilliant night benefitting those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

Headlining the event is the newest incarnation of relentless rockers, Wolf Snake Sun - now known as Shallow Vices. The Campbell-based quartet is touting a new lead singer, while remaining true to the smash mouth style of hard rock WSS was known for.

In support, with an piss-and-vinegar attitude for the ages, Touch My Rash, brings the hardcore to the people. In a similar vein, Hookers on Speedail, get gritty, while Michael Cosyn and Friends put a classic rock spin to their blues musings (think Hendrix, Sabbath, Deep Purple etc.) Horizon on Fire will open the musical festivities, with a silent auction also being a part of the action.

A $5 donation is suggested at the door, and the time of the event is to-be-announced, but you can visit the event page on Facebook, or visit http://www.jamforvets.org/
