Former WWF (WWE) superstar Ted DiBiase recently discussed his darkest days during his time with the company that propelled him into a national star known as the "Million Dollar Man". His trademark catchphrase "everyone has a price", proved to be more than just words in his life. DiBiase's price for his success was a personal battle within himself that he described as a place of "misery". According to a January 20th report by SBSun.com, DiBiase commented on his misery and the vices that he drowned himself in to cope with his inner struggles:
"At the very pinnacle of that success, I came to a place of misery. I never really had an addiction to the drugs or booze, but the women, Me and Tiger Woods could carry on a conversation. I'm not talking out of a book, I'm talking about life experience."
Ted would also discuss how only Jesus Christ could fill the whole within him. DiBiase is a born again Christian whom has used pro-wrestling as a vehicle to spread the gospel. His son Ted DiBiase Jr. is a current wrestler with the WWE.
I have seen Ted's faith up close and personal after doing a Christian wrestling show with him, Nikita Koloff, and Greg Valentine. I've sat in the back room talking to Ted about Christ and the word of God. He's a genuine believer who speaks from true experiences and changes within his life.
