Former WWE wrestler Buck Zumhofe was found guilty on March 5 for six counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and six counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct. According to Wrestle Zone on March 6, Zumhofe tried to run from the courtroom after the verdict was announced but was tackled and restrained.

The victim in question in the case was a relative who Zumhofe allegedly molested since she was 15 years old. The abuse then lasted for 12 years, until she was 27 years old. She claimed that she was molested at least 1,800 times over the years, sometimes more than once a day.

Thanks to the fact that Zumhofe tried to flee from the courtroom, plus the severity of the case, the sentencing was put off until later in the month.

Zumhofe wrestled in the AWA for most of his career, but he also had a stop in the WWE where he was involved in two historic matches. He was the first opponent for Triple H when he made his WWE debut and he was also the first person that The Undertaker put into the body bag when he was starting that gimmick.

This isn’t the first time that Buck Zumhofe has been in trouble with the law. He was also arrested in 1986 and spent time in prison for sexual misconduct with a minor. This was actually before he signed with the WWE.
