WWE star saves mom: Chris Masters uproots tree, saves mom from burning house (Photos)

Former WWE superstar Chris "The Masterpiece" Masters rushed to the aide of his mother on Tuesday, March 19, 2013, to save her from her burning Los Angeles home. TMZ reports that Masters actually uprooted a tree with his bare hands and used it as a makeshift battering ram to enter the house.

Masters, whose real name is Chris Mordetzky, told TMZ that his uncle called him and said that a neighbor had gone crazy and barricaded himself inside his mother's home. Masters rushed to help his mother, but was in for a surprise when he showed up.

Upon Masters' arrival, the neighbor began shouting at him through the front door, and said he would burn the place down if anyone tried to gain entry. Masters tried to talk reasonably with the neighbor, but he wasn't listening.

At this point, Masters called the police, but once they arrived, the neighbor set the house on fire. That was when the former WWE superstar went into safety mode.

Masters tore a tree out of the ground and tossed it through a window in the house. He reached in through the broken window and removed his mother from the burning house. Police then rushed into the home and arrested the neighbor on arson charges.

There is still no word as to why the neighbor freaked out.
