Former WWE star accuses John Cena of stealing ideas and holding talent down

No other superstar in the history of the WWE has ever faced the type of mixed reactions like John Cena does. In just about every arena he wrestles, the fans are evenly split between cheering and booing. Unfortunately, unlike the live crowds, the Internet seems to be loaded with more anti-Cena critics than supporters. And now, you can add former WWE wrestler Tyler Reks to this growing list. According to a February 26 report by WrestlingInc.com, Reks accuses Cena of burying talent and stealing their ideas during an appearance on the Pancakes and Powerslams radio show:

"Outside the ring, I can't stand the guy. He's not a nice guy, he holds talent down. He steals ideas. He's a prick."

These are some serious accusations by Reks. Some critics may point to Reks being a disgruntled employee who's just bashing the company's top star. However, Tyler does give Cena credit for his work ethic during the interview, prior to ripping him with these allegations. And, Reks discloses that he left the WWE because he wanted to be a parent to his child, which damages any claims that he's disgruntled or bitter.

Tyler's comments also give "Cena haters" more ammunition for why they dislike John Cena so much.

Wrestling fans should be aware that this is not the first time accusations like these have surrounded a top star in the WWE. These accusations have been going on for the past several decades within the company from Hulk Hogan to Triple H.

However, these accusations toward John Cena do seem to contradict his public image of being the celebrity with over 400 granted wishes for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Could a guy who preaches "loyalty and respect" actually be so selfish that he holds down other talent and steals their ideas?
