In addition to being in a highly controversial feud with The Undertaker, CM Punk is also in a feud with the WWE creative department. According to a March 19 report by FW4Online.com, Punk is having some conflict with WWE's creative brain trust. Unfortunately, sources are unable to identify the problem at this time. However, this isn't the first time CM Punk has battled it out with the WWE creative team and it won't be the last. Punk is very outspoken about his character and it's what skyrocketed him into superstardom back in the summer of 2011.
There's a chance that Punk could be upset with the creative direction of his feud with The Undertaker as he has been mocking Taker by stealing an urn and mocking the passing of Paul Bearer. Additionally, some sources speculate that Punk's two major PPV losses to The Rock could have rubbed him the wrong way.
On the March 11 episode of RAW, Punk wrestled Kane in the main event of the evening. During the match, Punk injured his arm. The WWE and CM Punk refuse to comment on the injury. However, Punk has now been pulled from all live events up to WrestleMania 29 on Sunday April 7.
One can only speculate as to what his injury may be. But, the WWE made a smart decision here by giving one of their top stars some much needed time off from the ring. Punk will continue to work the television shows like RAW.
