On Monday, former WWE and WCW star Scott Hall was sentenced to 10 days in jail for an incident where Hall drunkenly resisted arrest outside a bar in Florida in May, 2010. According to a Tuesday report by TMZ.com, Hall will only serve 2 days in jail as his sentence was reduced. Hall will begin his sentence on July 5th and spend his two days in the medical unit of Seminole County Jail.
In May 2010, Hall physically shoved a few of the bar patrons and punched the window of a car. He then refused to go with the police when they arrived. This incident is believed to have cost Hall's job with TNA as he was teamed back up with Kevin Nash and X-Pac.
Hall has a long history of substance abuse and various medical issues. His health has become a sensitive subject in the wrestling community as he's dramatically deteriorated over the years. Over the last few months, several of Hall's good friends have come to his aid during these tough times. Hopefully, Hall will learn from these mistakes and start making some healthier choices for his life. Despite the negative public attention he's received over the last year, there's still a lot of wrestling fans that support him. For more on TMZ's report click here.
