Chris Ault has yet to announce his next coaching stop but five other coaches from the staff of the 2012 Nevada Wolf Pack football team have found new homes . . .
- Scott Baumgartner is now the wide receivers coach at New Mexico under head coach Bob Davie. Baumgartner spent nine seasons at Nevada under Ault (2004-12) as quarterbacks coach (2004) and wide receivers coach (2005-12). Baumgartner coached such standout Pack receivers as Rishard Matthews, Brandon Wimberly, Marko Mitchell, Tray Session, Mike McCoy, Caleb Spencer and Chris Wellington.
- Ken Wilson is now the linebackers coach at Washington State. The long-time Pack assistant spent 19 seasons at Nevada under head coaches Ault, Jeff Horton and Jeff Tisdel.
- Darren Hiller is now the offensive line coach at Cincinnati. Hiller spent just one season at Nevada in 2012 after coming from Arkansas State where he coached 10 seasons.
- Larry Lewis is now the running backs coach and special teams coordinator at Virginia. Like Hiller, Lewis spent just one year at Nevada in 2012. Under Lewis' guidance, running back Stefphon Jefferson turned in arguably the best season by a Pack running back in history with a school-record 1,883 yards and 24 touchdowns.
- Barry Sacks left the program in December to become the defensive line coach at California. Sacks was with the Pack since 2002 when he joined Chris Tormey's staff.
- Mike Bradeson, the Pack defensive coordinator in 2012, will coach the safeties in 2013. Tight ends coach James Spady also returns.
- Pack head coach Brian Polian said earlier this month that he will name a cornerbacks coach soon. James Ward had coached Pack cornerbacks since 2008. Ward is now an assistant athletic director at Nevada, helping Pack athletes to succeed academically.
- Offensive coordinator Nick Rolovich left the Wolf Pack to become offensive coordinator at Temple in December but returned to the Pack in January to join Polian's staff.
- Dave Brown, the former Director of Football Operations, is now the offensive coordinator at Fort Lewis College where former Wolf Pack assistant coach John L. Smith is head coach.
- Chris Ault has been doing media interviews about Colin Kaepernick and the pistol offense since resigning on Dec. 28.
