Former winner: Emily Maynard sole 'Bachelorette' to have not slept with beaus

The so-called "Fantasy Suites" on "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette" have been the source of much lusty (pun intended) discussion. What exactly happens there, when the cameras go away?

The thought has been that most of the time the Fantasy Suite leads to sex, as it is an overnight date. The public statements have been a little more prosaic, though, saying that the dates just allow time "contestants" to have off-camera privacy.

"Bachelorette 5" contestant David Good Tweeted succinctly about the Fantasy Suites:

"‪#fantasysuite‬ It's just common sense. You don't buy a car you are gonna drive the rest of your life without a test drive. ‪#justsaying‬"

Meanwhile, Jesse Csincsak, who was the winner of season four of "The Bachelorette" (though his relationship with DeAnna Pappas did not end up "happily ever after") said that Emily Maynard, who was shown last Monday not having any Fantasy Suite dates, is the only one of the Bachelors and Bachelorettes to have not slept with at least one of the show's contestants in a Fantasy Suite.

“I’m surprised she didn’t. I think Emily is very worried about what everyone thinks [as she is a single mom with a 6-year-old daughter] instead of just being herself. It is all about what everyone will say."

It's true, though, that even Reality Steve said the same, that Maynard's Fantasy Suite decision was as much about "appearances" as everything else. Certainly, she has a lot of physical attraction and chemistry with Arie, and she obviously loves French kissing (and not just with Arie).

However, you'll recall that as a contestant on Brad Womack's season of “The Bachelor," Maynard did spend a night in the Fantasy Suite. Womack has blogged that the time with "his women" in the Suite was spent talking, though. Right.

Don't forget, also, that "Bachelor" creator and executive producer Mike Fleiss said that "the average guy will end up having sex with three women during the course of the show."

There have been 16 seasons of the ABC hit "The Bachelor," eight seasons of the spin-off "The Bachelorette," so how does Csincsak know about the rest of the seasons? It seems he's stayed pretty connected to the show.

As an example, on August 28, 2010, he was married to Ann Lueders, who appeared as a contestant on the thirteenth season of "The Bachelor."

The season finale of "The Bachelorette," and her choice between Arie and Jef, is on Sunday, July 22, 2012.
