January 10, 2012 (New York, NY) -- Grammy winner and former Wings guitarist Laurence Juber is in New York City and on the East Coast this week for another short tour of his stellar solo acoustic shows.
I've been lucky enough to have worked with Laurence and seen his playing up close (in my home studio, no less!) and let me tell you these shows are not to be missed. Laurence's single guitar take on the songs of The Beatles and Wings are stunningly beautiful, and he's a wonderful storyteller and lovely guy to boot.
Laurence will be playing at a "Guitars In the Classroom" outreach at PS 230 in Brooklyn, N.Y today. Tomorrow he'll perform two shows at the Iridium Jazz Club, at 8 and 10 p.m.
On January 12th he'll play the Tupelo Music Hall in Londonderry, N.H. at 8 p.m. and on the 13th and 14th he'll play at the TCAN Center for the Arts at 8 p.m. in Natick, Mass.
Finally, on January 15th Laurence will appear at the Greenwich, Conn. library at 3:30 p.m.
