It appears that Buff still has the stuff, as the former WCW tag team champion has taken his success in the squared circle and parlayed that into a prosperous career as a gigolo. According to a March 5 report by TMZ.com, Buff Bagwell has become a successful gigolo for the popular site Cowboys4Angels.com and is the company's second most popular escort. And if that weren't enough to make you scratch your head in disbelief, Buff also made an appearance on the Showtime television series Gigolos.
Bagwell's pro wrestling debut was in 1990. Bagwell had the good looks that many promoters desired in a baby face. His physical appearance earned him a shot with WCW in 1991. Wrestling under his real name of Marcus Alexander Bagwell, the young wrestling talent gained modest success as a tag-team wrestler. Over the next 5 years, Bagwell won the WCW tag belts on 4 separate occasions with various partners.
However, Bagwell's greatest success came in late 1996 when he joined the legendary faction of the NWO. He would also rename himself Buff Bagwell, which is his most popular gimmick to date. After WCW was purchased by the WWE in 2001, Bagwell had a short run with the company. Plagued by injuries, some very serious, Bagwell's days as a popular wrestling star were soon over. He would tour the indy circuit for many years and also make a few appearances with TNA.
Used to making a great deal of money, it's no stretch of the imagination as to why Bagwell would jump into the world of male prostitution. Various reports state that Bagwell's services cost the following:
- $800 for two hours
- $1,550 for four hours
- $3,000 for overnight
- $4,500 per day
- $8,000 for a weekend
- $25,000 for a week
The 44 year old former wrestler is married. As of now, it appears that his wife doesn't object to Bagwell's current profession.
