Former WCW champion Bill Goldberg wanted to kill WWE's Gillberg

It appears that former WCW champion Bill Goldberg was not a fan of the WWE parody of him named Gillberg. In fact, Gillberg, real name Duane Gill, revealed that Goldberg hated him and wanted to kill him. According to a Wednesday December 7th report by TheScore.com, Gillberg made the following comments:

"Goldberg hates my guts. He wanted to kill me. I remember the night I did meet him, the night we did The Rock Concert were I was dancing all the ring and all. They just wanted me to just stand there and tap my foot. So I had to explain to Mr. McMahon about what I wanted to do and he started laughing his ass off and  he goes lets do it (laughs)"

The WWE created Gillberg as a parody of Bill Goldberg during his run as the unbeatable monster in WCW. It's started out as a joke but grew into a popular gimmick. Gillberg's ring entrance was just as hilarious as his in-ring actions.

It's no surprise that Bill Goldberg hated him and the gimmick. Goldberg is an intense individual who takes whatever he's doing very seriously. Additionally, I'm sure he was not happy at WWE's personal attack toward him. However, it still didn't stop him from joining the WWE after WCW folded.
