MacKenzie Bourg was the guy on season three of “The Voice” who re-imagined pop hits with his own quirky, acoustic spin on the guitar. The singer-songwriter has since been focused on putting out his own music. He released the music video for first single “Everyone's Got a Story” on Monday.
The “Everyone's Got a Story” music video opens with Bourg in the middle of the desert. He brings his acoustic guitar along to play the soothing soft rock track. When he is not jamming out by a camp fire, Bourg is riding high on his motor bike around the area. Much of the clip is shot in a glowing filter that is remiscent of a photo on Instagram. Bourg's story seems to have a happy ending from all the fun he is having in the music video.
He self-released “Everyone's Got a Story” to iTunes last Monday and the inspirational song shot to the upper realms of the digital store's charts due to the big support from his MacPack fanbase. The single previews an EP that Bourg has been readying for release later this year.
