"He was one of those people that once you met him, you liked him," said Ursinus head wrestling coach Bill Racich. "He was a highly skilled wrestler with a fierce competitive spirit, a great teammate, leader and champion on the mats."
"He had the innate ability to connect with everyone in a meaningful manner," said Alex Blank, senior Ursinus wrestler and co-captain. "He made it so that you were not just friends with him but made a point to ensure that your relationship was unique. He was quick to led a hand when you needed help and if you were younger to take you under his wing to show you the ropes."
Glover had recently completed his degree in Exercise and Sports Science.
Prior to enrolling at Ursinus, Glover was a four-year wrestler at Bergenfield High School in New Jersey, where he was the first wrestler in school history to win 100 matches. He ended his mat career at Bergenfield with a then-school record of 109 victories. He later served as an assistant wrestling coach at his alma mater during the 2010-11 season.
Glover is survived by his parents, Karyn and Raymond Glover, and one sibling.
Visitation will take place at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 S. Washington Ave., Bergenfield on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Tenafly, N.J. Burial at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Tenafly. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Gift of Life Donor Program.
