Former “Teen Mom” Farrah Abraham is making headlines again. As always though, they aren’t very positive. On Tuesday, September 3, Miami New Times interviewed the controversial star about feminism, and she shockingly (or is it even shocking anymore?) did not know what that meant.
Farrah was first asked to confirm the story of how her video with James Deen saw the light of day. “A boyfriend of mine at the time, which was James Deen, is in the industry and makes videos all the time, and so I thought it was a comfortable situation to have my only sex video with him. Proved me wrong…He did that because he wanted to promote his film at the time, ‘The Canyons.’ It was already going to be out there for free. So I made a business deal out of it. I’m smart, and I’m happy that I did that.”
Farrah went on to say that they are no longer together and she was then asked, “Do you consider yourself a feminist?”
“I’m pretty feminine,” Farrah replied. “I think so.”
Miami New Times repeated the question to avoid confusion, “Not feminine – feminist.” Confused, Farrah answered, “What does that mean, you’re lesbian or something?”
The source cleared things up with explaining the meaning to Farrah and she finally replied with, “Oh, I definitely feel that women are equal to men. No doubt about that. I mean women should have equal rights to men, every day.”
