Outside of pitching there have been quite a few standouts from either Spring Training invites or other free agent signees. But, former Tampa Yankees Zoilo Almonte who has made his Major League debut, has made appearances in 17 games maintaining a .406 average along with 7 runs including 1 homer and 2 RBIs. Almonte will most likely start 2014 with Triple-A Scranton as the Yankees’ outfield looks to be quite stacked as of lately.
