Former 'RHONY' stars Alex McCord and Jill Zarin hang out on Easter Sunday

Just because they're no longer on "The Real Housewives of New York City" doesn't mean that Alex McCord and Jill Zarin don't ever see each other. The two former New York City housewives actually spent Easter Sunday together. On Sunday, April 20, Alex posted a photo of them enjoying the day with one another.

The photo shows them apparently having a lot of fun together. Jill is leaning in close to Alex and both have big smiles on their faces. Both look casual, with sweaters and sunglasses on and their hair left loose around their faces. Perhaps they got together to do a leisurely walk while catching up on their lives? Alex's caption for the photo states that they had a lovely Sunday afternoon.

The photo surprised some of Alex's fans. During their time on the show, Alex and Jill clashed often. Their feud extended beyond their time on the show. Alex and her husband Simon van Kempen blamed her firing from the show squarely on Jill's shoulders, telling "Good Morning America" that Jill had tried to get her off the show for years. Jill countered that Alex was just unfairly blaming her. Just last October, Alex even slammed Jill as "irrational" and a liar after she claimed that Ramona Singer's estranged husband, Mario Singer, tried to get with her.

Alex's Twitter pic gave some of her fans hope. Several wrote in saying that they should both get back on "The Real Housewives of New York City" and that the show hasn't been the same since they left. Both Alex and Jill, along with Kelly Bensimon and Cindy Barshop, were fired from the show after the fourth season. For the fifth season, Aviva Drescher, Carole Radziwill and Heather Thomson arrived to join returning housewives LuAnn de Lesseps, Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan. The current season, the sixth, also features Kristen Taekman.
