Jim Brown, arguably by many as the best athlete in the world to have ever touched a football, crossed-over into the world of animation. The Cleveland Browns former Pro Football Hall of Fame running back Brown alongside wide receiver Josh Cribbs were both recently animated into a cartoon.
The cartoon version of the two, along with their voices, appeared in “NFL Rush Zone” on Nicktoons. The episode aired around 9 p.m. that evening. The following morning there was an encore on the NFL Network.
The story line had the unbeaten Steelers Youth Tackle Football (YTF) team journey to Canton to take on the Canton Bulldogs. The nervous Bulldogs were calmed down by a player named Marty, and then inspired when Brown and Cribbs showed up for a pep talk. And, were they motivated.
Brown is hosting his own golfing event in New Orleans a few days leading up to Super Bowl XLVII. The event is titled: Jim Brown Legends of Football Golf Classic.
