Former Montessori teacher Justin Roberts to perform a free family concert

Chicago’s own award winning singer-songwriter Justin Roberts is scheduled to perform a free family concert at this weekend’s Magnificent Mile Festival of Lights. Justin Roberts, a former Montessori preschool teacher, writes and performs songs that appeal to children and parents alike and get everyone singing and dancing. Producing nine albums of original indie-rock style family music in just over ten years, Mr. Roberts has a devoted following of kids who love his music and parents who continue to sing along to his catchy tunes long after they have dropped the kids off at school.

Songs from Justin Roberts’ newest CD, Jungle Gym, are sure to be featured at his free concert this Saturday, November 20 at 12:15pm at the Harris Stage at Pionner Court, 401 N. Michigan Avenue, Chicago. Justin Roberts will also perform a ticketed family concert on December 29, 2010 at the Field Museum’s Crown Family Play Lab Storytelling Festival.
