Former Minneapolis Park Police Charged with Possession of Child Pornography

William Jacobs was previously the head of the Minneapolis Park Police. One week ago he was charged with one count of possession of pornography involving minors. He is also being charged with two counts of criminal sexual conduct for allegedly sexually abusing a young boy for the past two years.

At his home in Deephaven, a criminal search warrant was executed, after the arrest of the criminal sexual conduct charge, and police discovered and confiscated numerous computers, DVD's, jump drives and external hard drives.

According to the criminal complaint that was filed, there were 39,133 images of possible child pornography found .

Jacobs is a counselor and also a faculty member at the Minneapolis Community and Technical College teaching criminal justice.
