Fans of Evangeline Lilly had news on the actress delivered this weekend. The former star of Lost has given birth to a son. Next up for the actress is an appearance in the film Real Steel, which has wrapped up production, and will hit theaters in Scottsdale on October 7. However, this might be her last acting role for awhile. New York Daily News reported on Sunday that the actress plans to take a break from acting to focus on being a mother. The actress said acting is "not my dream; it's not my be-all, end-all."
Evangeline Lilly appeared as Kate Austen on the ABC hit series, Lost, for the entire run of the series, and she had jumped from that into film roles. In addition to Real Steel, the Canadian actress also starred in the 2008 film, The Hurt Locker. Real Steel co-stars Hugh Jackman, and it is set in a futuristic world where robot boxing is popular. Very little is known about the birth. Lilly has managed to keep the name, birth date and weight a secret for the time being. The father of the child is Norman Kali, a man she met while working on Lost.
