Former Lady Gaga assistant claims in court docs she slept with the singer

The former assistant of Lady Gaga is suing the singer for unpaid overtime wages and alleges in court documents that she went above and beyond assisting by sleeping in the same bed with her boss.

Radar Online reports on Feb. 2, 2013, during a recent deposition, Jennifer O’Neill said, “I was by her side virtually 24 hours a day, seven days a week… That includes sleeping in the same bed with her. Because she did not sleep alone.”

In the depositions obtained by The New York Post, O’Neill also states she felt sleeping with Gaga “was required.

O’Neill is not alleging she had sex with the superstar, according to Radar.

The former assistant also states in her lawsuit that when on tour with Gaga she was not given her own hotel room, nor was she asked if she wanted one. O’Neill also claims she had “no privacy” and there was “no chance to talk to any family, no chance to talk to any friends, no chance to have sex… There was no chance to do anything.”

The lawsuit claims Gaga owes O’Neill overtime wages for work she performed from 2009 to 2011 in the amount of $393,000 in addition to damages.

Gaga denies she owes her former assistant any overtime pay.

According to Radar, O’Neill’s attorney, Virginia Trunkes, wrote the case “illustrates that dichotomy between celebrity and assistant… between the hubris of a person so enamored with her status that she considers herself above the law.”
