Former Fox News "Fox and Friends" co-host accused of rape

 According to a report from the New York Times, the former co-host of Fox News hit show "Fox and Friends," Greg Kelly has been accused of rape by a woman in New York. The case was originally handled by NYPD, but since Kelly's father works for the New York police, the case has since been transferred to the Manhattan district attorney.

Greg Kelly is denying the allegations and did so through a statement made by his attorney, Andrew M. Lankler.
“Mr. Kelly strenuously denies any wrongdoing of any kind, and is cooperating fully with the district attorney’s investigation. We know the district attorney’s investigation will prove Mr. Kelly’s innocence.”
The woman has claimed that she met Kelly at a restaurant in October, had a few drinks and later went back to her office where the rape, allegedly happened. The woman has stated that she did stay in contact with Kelly after the alleged incident until her current boyfriend found out. Her boyfriend says that since the alleged inncident, the woman has become an "emotional cripple". Kelly has worked for Fox for nearly a decade, currently holding a position hosting "Good Day New York" on Fox 5. After serving in the US Marine Corps, from 1991 to 2000, Kelly was a key reporter during the Iraq war and also reported from Ground Zero on September 11, 2001.
