Former 'DWTS" Edyta Sliwinska and Alec Mazo announce birth of first baby

Edyta Sliwinska and Alec Mazo have announced the birth of their first child. According to People, the happy couple welcomed Michael Alexander Mazo into their family on January 4, 2014.

Edyta told People, "We are extremely happy and in love with him. So far it's been the most amazing experience of my life. Even though I've been told how incredible it is to be a mom, I never imagined I would enjoy so much every minute spent with my little munchkin."

The proud mother posted the announcement on her Twitter page. “Our bundle of joy, born on Jan 4th! We are in love and as happy as can be!!! “Below her post, she included a picture of herself holding baby Michael.

Edyta and Alec, former dance professionals from “Dancing with the Stars” have been married for 13 years. Before joining “Dancing with the Stars, they competed in the Latin ballroom dance circuit. Edyta competed on “Dancing With the Stars” for 10 seasons. She and dance partner, Jason Taylor, won second place in Season 6. Alec was on the show from 2005 to 2010. He won first place in 2005, with dance partner, Kelly Monaco.

Congratulations to Edyta and Alec on their healthy baby boy.
