Former Miami Dolphin Quarterback Dan Marino will not participate in a lawsuit filed by other players against the National Football League over concussions, according to an article by Dave Hyde in the June 3 Sun Sentinel.
But the problem of concussions continues to plague football players at the professional and amateur levels. Many players have complained about the linger effects of concussion long after their playing days are over.
"I played football when I was younger and I know what concussions are like. I hope something is done about them," said Tom Blaylock.
