Even though "Dancing With the Stars" this season has managed to snag Kate Gosselin, they're still without Paula Abdul. According to a new story by TMZ, the former "American Idol" judge will not be a part of this season's show despite being offered a lucrative development deal with ABC.
For "Dancing," this is surely a loss in terms of star power. Paula immediately sparks curiosity among TV viewers, and she certainly could have brought some new fans to a show that may be losing some of its luster. On the other hand, Paula missing out on the show could be a blessing in disguise. Many people questioned whether Paula would have an unfair advantage due to her prior dance experience -- especially when her hip-hop qualifications put her nearly on par with judge Carrie Ann Inaba.
Even without "Dancing," Paula still has plenty of potential projects lined up. Simon Cowell is believed to be considering her as a judge for his upcoming version of "X Factor," and she also recently took part in VH1's "Divas."

Kate Gosselin has no business being on Dancing eith the stars! I hope she embarrases herself. Who is going to take care of her kids for that whole time and how is she going o afford that. Yeah I believe she is really destitute...NOT!
Kate is. Media Whore and should be worried about raising her kids, not her fame! She has 8 beautiful little people at home that need her love and attention! She has enough money to raise them. Its just pure greed, more, more, more! She's EVIL!
