Former porn star Jenna Jameson appeared on “Good Day New York” Monday morning to promote her first foray into fiction writing. However, according to TMZ, Jameson’s segment on the popular New York talk show was shortened because Jenna’s speech was impaired.
Jameson has been making the media rounds in New York to endorse "Sugar", an erotic novel co-written with Hope Tarr. The 39-year-old former adult film actress was scheduled for two segments with “Good Day New York”, and TMZ has reported the producer’s of FOX’s local morning talk show cut Jenna Jameson’s segment to one due to her slurred speech.
The porn legend was arrested in May of 2012 for a DUI and sentenced to three years of informal probation that included fines and a participation in MADD. Jenna Jameson’s ex, Tito Ortiz, has stated the former adult film actress is addicted to Oxycontin, although she has denied the allegations.
TMZ caught up with Jenna as she headed to Barnes and Noble to promote “Sugar” and questioned Jameson about her supposed intoxicated TV appearance. Jenna Jameson denied she was high on anything and provided a curt “No” when asked if her segment was cut short. She later went on to state that she hasn’t used drugs in seven years and her behavior could be attributed to exhaustion.
