A young shepherd mixed breed was surrendered wearing his thundershirt; a volunteer trying to help this dog find a safe refuge thinks this just might be a "first."

Only labeled as Tag 759, this dog is scared to death.

If you have never heard of a thundershirt, it is a vest which applies gentle pressure much like a "hug" and helps to calm anxious pets.
