An innovation to heal. Listening to your body and your intuition means listening to the pilot of your soul. If your mind won’t listen try using your body to share with you and find the answers. Prevent the inner critic from blocking the whispers of healing faith in yourself. The Jewish Day of Atonement begins today, and forgiveness is an age old pursuit.
Slippery when wet
Guilt is a rocky road, and forgiving yourself for the gossipy stories and the suffering you cause yourself over falling off of the path can be met with tenderness and self-love. Nobody’s perfect, that’s why it’s called practice. Life and it’s lessons have managed to behold many a harsh rule book and otherwise for getting along in the world.
Soften the edges of the harsh inner critic with love, and quiet time, and deep breadth. Notice any physical sensations you are feeling. Pain, tightness, buzzing, warmth, cold, cosmic connection. Ask your body what it is your mind is trying to communicate to you through not forgiving.
Visualize yourself as someone to love
If you were on the outside looking in at a loving individual you know having these same thoughts what would you say to them, what would you want them to know about forgiveness? Probably not to be so hard on yourself, to channel stability, peace and to send forgiveness right way.
The day of atonement is the holiest day of the year for the Jewish people and in Israel entire cities shut down for the weekend to observe intense prayer and asking for forgiveness. Your beliefs may be limiting what your body can do and the curse you bring upon yourself could be a self-fulfilling prophecy. Open your mind, forgive yourself for the impossible and be the miracle.
