Forever 21 celebrated the launch of festival 2014 season with an epic "Party in the Sky" last Saturday, April 12 in Palm Springs Cochella festival. The party featured a performance by recording artist Azealia Banks including unreleased tracks off of her "Broke With Expensive Taste" album. As well as, sets from DJ's Gorgon City and What So Not. The party included two gifting suites, the premiere of Forever 21's Summer 2014 fashion film and for added "lift", a 20ft VIP party pod suspended above the main event creating the ultimate desert party experience. The event hashtag was cleverly dubbed "#Cranechella".
Guests of the party were encouraged to leave a donation for the VH1 Save The Music Foundation - 100% of donations went to the Foundation.
To give customers all over the world a chance to "Party in the Sky" with Forever 21, the brand hosted the #Foreverfest Global Contest that asked shoppers to complete five photo challenges in 15 days. The grand prize winner was flown to LA, had VIP access to the "Party in the Sky", a two night hotel stay, car service and received over $1000 in festival swag.
