Forest Lawn Cemetery, located at 1411 Delaware Ave. in Buffalo, has announced the return of the popular It WAS A Wonderful Life for the winter season. Taking place in Forest Lawn’s historic chapel, the event begins November 30th and runs every Saturday and Sunday through December 29th at 2 p.m. Cost is $25 per person, and seating is limited – reservations are required and can be made at www.forest-lawn.com or by calling 716-885-1600.
Forest Lawn also announced the line-up for the fifth annual Sunday In The Cemetery Concert and Lecture Series, which will run on Sundays from January through April, except Easter Sunday (April 20th). The first Sunday of each month will be “Genealogy Sundays,” followed by “The Music of Forest Lawn by O’Connell and Co.” on the second Sunday of each month. The third Sunday of each month will feature stories of Buffalo in “Buffalo Comes Alive at Forest Lawn,” while the fourth Sunday takes you behind the scenes in “Getting to Know Forest Lawn.”
All Sunday In The Cemetery events take place at 2:00 p.m. in the Forest Lawn chapel. Cost is $15 per person per event – reservations can be made at the above website or phone number. Complete schedules for the upcoming months can also be found at the above website.
