The 2014 music festival circuit is emerging as one of the greatest summers yet for music lovers. Even those that can't travel across the country to partake in a show can enjoy several festivals within a day's drive of Dayton. One such show is Forecastle 2014.
Forecastle 2014 will take place July 18-20 in Louisville, Kentucky at Waterfront Park on the banks of the Ohio River. The festivities begin on Friday, July 18 and continue through the evening hours of Sunday, July 20. Headlining the festival are Outkast, Jack White, Beck and the Replacements. Additional acts include Dwight Yoakum, Ray Lamontagne, Spoon, Twenty One Pilots, Gary Clark Jr, Trampled by Turtles, Black Lips and many, many more. The full schedule of events and appearance times will be made public in early April. The weekend not only includes music, but also art and activism.

VP passes for the weekend are sold out, but single day VIP passes will also become available on April 4. For those on a tight budget, payment plans are available for general admission weekend passes through 11:59 p.m. April 7.
